Código: 37215
O medidor de analgesia 37215 é o dispositivo clássico para realizar experimentos de pressão de pata de acordo com o método de Randall-Selitto, o projeto original de Ugo Basile remonta à década de 1960.
Normalmente, o método de Randall-Selitto é usado como um rastreio rápido e sensível de drogas analgésicas e anti-inflamatórias.
A força é aplicada à pata do animal, que é colocada em um pequeno pedestal sob um empurrador em forma de cone com uma ponta arredondada, que não agride o animal. O 37215, originalmente concebido para ratos, é convenientemente usado também com ratos; no entanto, quando menor pressão é necessária, oferecemos o modelo 37216, com pressão aplicada reduzida para 50% e incluindo um empurrador especial em forma de cinzel.
O operador pressiona um pedal para iniciar o mecanismo que exerce a força; quando o rato luta, o operador solta o pedal e lê a escala em que força o animal sentiu dor. Pesos adicionais são fornecidos para aumentar a faixa de força. O medidor de analgesia apresenta um motor síncrono de baixa tensão.
Novo O Analgesy-Meter clássico agora pode ser integrado com um sensor de pressão específico e o controlador relacionado, disponível como opcional, que atualiza o Analgesy-Meter para um dispositivo totalmente digital .
Como o design básico permanece inalterado, os resultados com o modelo digital são consistentes com os dados publicados.

O Analgésico Basile-Metro foi projetado para realizar uma triagem rápida e precisa de drogas algérgicas na pata de rato normal e inflamada, de acordo com o teste de Randall-Selitto.
O instrumento é basicamente um dispositivo que exerce uma força que aumenta a uma taxa constante (um certo número de gramas por segundo). Essa força é continuamente monitorada por um ponteiro se movendo ao longo de uma escala linear.
A força é aplicada à pata do animal, que é colocada sobre um pequeno pedestal sob um empurrador em forma de cone com uma ponta arredondada. O plinto é feito de TEFLON, que é biologicamente inerte e tem um coeficiente de atrito muito baixo. Assim, se o animal de repente retira sua pata, desliza facilmente sem se machucar.
O operador pressiona um pedal para iniciar o mecanismo que exerce a força.
Quando o rato luta, o operador solta o pedal e lê a escala a força em que o animal sentiu dor.
